James R. Yeary, DDS
I have lived in Norman most of my life. I attended Central and West junior high school. These are now Longfellow and Alcott Middle schools today. I graduated from Norman High School in 1974. I graduated from the University Of Oklahoma in 1979 with a B.S. in Microbiology. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1985. I attended completed the Modified Straightwire Orthodontics Course from 11/1999 to 4/2000 at Baylor through the International Association for Orthodontics. I been married for 33 years and have 4 children. My 2 oldest children are attending OU college of Dentistry. This will make 3 generation of Dentists in my Family.
I am a Member of American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association, The Central District of Oklahoma Dental Association, The International Association of Orthodontics and Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
William R. Johnson, DDS
Dr. Johnson graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1954. He graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City with a D.D.S. degree in 1958. He completed a year Teaching Research Fellowship 1n 1959.
Dr. Johnson had a private practice in general dentistry, in Norman, OK from 1960 – 2008. From 2008 – Present, his practice has been limited to head, neck and facial pain.
Dr. Johnson’s professional affiliations include: Diplomat, American Academy of Pain Management, Fellow, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and Fellow, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Binx Mills
Binx is a Norman native who graduated from NHS and attended the University of Oklahoma. She has been Dr. Johnson’s office manager for the past 15 years. She currently assists Dr. Johnson in all phases of his limited practice of Craniofacial Pain Management.
Binx is married to Garold Mills and has three grown children. Josh is currently in school, works and is raising a daughter. Julia graduated from the University of Oklahoma Law School and is practicing in Norman. Jake is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and is working in oil and gas.
Binx is currently on the Board for the Moore Lindsey Historical House in Norman and has a passion for landscaping.
Our Staff
Jenny Goldberg – Dental Hygienist
I have been married for 35 years. We have two sons, both OU graduates. We moved to Norman in 2006 from Northwest OKC.
I have been practicing Dental Hygiene for 37 years, and love to stay up with the new science and technology. I’m sure anyone of my patients, coworkers and husband will tell you I love to talk!
Shannon – Dental Hygienist
I am a Norman native. I attended Norman High School and graduated from the Rose State College Dental Hygiene program as Phi Theta Kappa and Sigma Phi Alpha. I enjoy sports and participate annually in the Oklahoma Memorial Marathon.
I am committed to providing advanced comprehensive periodontal care to ensure that our patients can achieve optimal oral health.
Debbie – Insurance Coordinator
I am a very outgoing, optimistic, cheerful person that has worked in all aspects of the dental office for 31 years. I am the mother a four beautiful children and one granddaughter.
Shannon – Dental Assistant
Shannon moved to Norman in 1986 then relocated to Pittsburgh, PA from 1991 – 2000. While there she trained as a dental assistant. She has worked in the dental field for five years.
Shannon is currently attending the University of Oklahoma in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in social sciences. Her goal is to help people find the tools to better their lives.
While at Dr. Yeary’s office Shannon will help you with your continued care as she is excited to have the opportunity to care for Dr. Yeary’s patients.
Erica – Dental Assistant
Erica moved to Oklahoma from Colorado. She has lived in Oklahoma for 6 years. Erica has worked in dentistry for 23 years.
Becky, – Front Desk Coordinator
I have worked in dentistry for 31 years. I enjoy cooking, eating and laughing!
Lonna – Office Manager
I was born in Lawton, OK, raised in Ponca City, OK and came to OU in Norman for college. My dad was born and raised in Norman. In fact, my grandparent’s acreage used to be where Whittier Middle School is today.
I met James in college and we married in 1978. We have five wonderful children, who were all adopted from Korea. Will, Lauren, Collin, Gavin (our little angel in heaven) and Parker. They are true blessings from God.
I have a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from OU. I enjoy being involved in my children’s activities, spending time with my family, traveling, reading, cooking, and being with my friends.
I have a non profit organization, Journey Adoption Educational Services. Every summer we facilitate a Camp for children adopted from Korea. This is very dear to my heart. I love to talk, especially about adoption!
After many, many years, I find myself back working in the office. I truly enjoy being here. We have a fabulous staff and they are a joy and pleasure to work with.
