Dental Services

We feel and try to provide a complete array of dental treatments and services. We provide:

  • Tooth colored composite:  The fillings Dr. Yeary does are all tooth colored.  He does not use silver fillings.  The fillings match your natural teeth.
  • Tooth Colored Crowns: Porcelain fused to metal, Zirconium Chloride. Ceramic substrate and pressed ceramic crowns
  • Simple extractions: We feel if a patient is going to feel or physically be uncomfortable,  they should be sedated under an Oral Surgeon’s services. Our office does offer simple extraction services.
  • Cleaning and deep cleanings procedures: Our office provides complete services from simple cleaning to complex gingival recontouring using the latest laser technology
  • Root Canals: Our office is happy to provide these services. If you’re having a toothache please call so we can relieve your pain.
  • Orthodontics: We offer all stages of orthodontic services from preventive to comprehensive procedures. Our favorites currently are ligature free brackets. These allow us to reduce time in brackets by 25 to 30% over the old elastic retained brackets.
  • Implants: We place and restore these, in a team effort with an Oral Surgeon or Periodontist. We do currently place implants to retain dentures in this office.
  • Bruxism Splints: We find that many people don’t even realize they need a bruxism splint until a dentist points out certain symptoms, such sore throats ,earaches, sensitivity to cold foods and most often gum recession even though the patient is having regular check ups.
  • TMD services: We have one of the most prominent TMD Specialists in the United States, working in our office, W R Johnson DDS.  Dr. Johnson has been providing TMD procedures for over 4 decades and is one of the founding member of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
  • Fixed Bridges: We offer bridges which are similar to our crowns and are made of the same materials. Our bridges can be used to span up to a 5 teeth gap.
  • Partials and Dentures: We provide multiple kinds of dentures: vinyl with porcelain teeth that warm to body temperature and adapt to your gums; resin with denture teeth, these are simplest to place, and they can be added to and adjusted; chrome and acrylic, these rest on teeth and are made to last for many years; titanium with custom hinged stress breakers and also retainers. There are and multitude of choices, come in and let us help you choose the denture just for you.
  • Anesthesia: We provide local and nitrous sedation.
  • Lasers: Our office uses both Waterlase and Diode lasers to provide bloodless and pain free procedures. The Diode is used regularly in periodontal pockets reduction and we have amazing results, never seen before these procedures were introduced. The Waterlase is used for caries removal, crown height, lengthening and almost all soft tissue surgeries. Most are done with minimal anesthesia
  • Air abrasion: Minimally invasive dentistry is the new trend in dentistry. Current technology allows for smaller restorations. Only the caries are removed and the rest of the tooth is sealed. This reduces the size of the restoration by as much 90%. Since the air only feels cold to the patient, no anesthesia is needed.
  • Oral Hygiene Instruction:   This is very important to Dr. Yeary and his hygienists.  Instruction is provided to every new patient in this practice. We believe if our patients know exactly how to take care of their oral hygiene, they will be healthier.
  • Sealants: Our office does not use sealant material to seal teeth. We feel it is inferior and is the main cause for replacement after 12 to 18 months,  in many cases. We regularly see our sealants still in the mouth 10 years later. Dr. Yeary himself will place the sealants, not the assistants or hygienists.
  • Bleaching: There are many ways to bleach teeth.  Dr. Yeary chooses to use Dr Haywood’s method.  He is considered the pioneer of bleaching. Dr. Haywood started out in the 1980s experimenting with bleaching. Since then he has studied all the different methods.  This bleaching method is permanent and can bleach almost any color tooth over time and maintain this color over long period’s time.

Technology: Our office is completely computerized and is approaching being a paperless office. We utilize Digital Intraoral cameras to allow our patients to see what we as practitioners see. We use lasers for procedures from fillings to surgery. We use electric hand pieces instead of the old air powered ones which are very noisy and inefficient. We also use lasers to cure porcelain fillings. This allows them to cure more completely and faster. We use digital radiographs because they use significantly less radiation.
